In blustery and wet conditions, a field of 30 players played for the Collie Mowers and More Trophy.
Mark McCormick found the conditions to his liking coming in with a terrific score of +4.
Mark hardly put a foot wrong all day keeping the ball down the middle of the fairway to secure an easy victory.
After a slow start Ron Annandale came home strong, sinking some long putts along the way to claim second place with a good score of +1.
Clayton Flynn and Jim Moyses were next in playing to their respective handicaps to finish on square.
Captain Graham Williams had -1 followed by Jan Van Vollenstee and Peter Coombs on -2.
Novelties winners: No. 4 - Flynny, No. 6 - Brett Smith, No. 7 - G. Williams, No. 9 - Trevor McCormick, No. 14 - Stumpy, No. 15 - Wazza, No. 18 - Ron Annandale.
On Tuesday, a good field of 36 players took to the course with a tight contest.
Bomber supporter Peter Coombs returned 37 to be the day's winner, edging out John Wray and Paul Moyses, both on 35.
Darren O'Brien was next in with 34, followed by Jeff Crowe, George Newlands, Alby Hunter and Chris Stewart, all on 33.
The best vet on the day went to Jim Moyses with 33 points.
LAST Saturday was the foursome club championship, where the pairing of David Blurton and Danny Cheng won in a playoff hole against Greg Bell and Michael Dowling.
Both pairs came in with 89 for the 18 holes.
In the playoff hole, the heavens opened up, making for terrible golfing conditions.
Both pairs were even after two shots with Michael's chip just skidding on in the slippery conditions.
Dave adjusted his chip shot after seeing Michael's and put it pin high about eight foot from the hole.
Greg Bell had a tricky 10-foot downhill putt which just lipped out.
Danny shook off the nerves and sunk a nice par putt to give the pair the win.
Next week: Two-person Ambrose for the Collie Eagles trophy; Tuesday - Leisure Day; Thursday - Scroungers.
