The Collie Cycle Club and Collie Cricket Club have been given a boost, in time for Summer.
Thanks to a life-saving initiative from St John Ambulance and Lotterywest, both groups recently received one defibrillator each.
Collie Cricket Club secretary Mark Williams said the devices would benefit the clubs and the community.
"We host teams from all over the South-West, so it's a worthwhile resource to have," he said.
Collie Cycle Club president Alf Mason thanked all the organisations involved for their support.
Both defibrillators were installed by Collie business owner and carpenter Jeff Riley, last month.
Mr Riley said he was pleased to donate his time and services to the project.
"If we spread these defibrillators around town, the network will then grow significantly," he said.
"I try to do my fair share. I'm a born and bred Collie person - the more I can do for my town, the better."
The Bendigo Bank Collie and Districts Community Bank Branch, on Forrest Street, purchased and installed a new defibrillator earlier this year.
