Basketball star Andrew Bogut has live-tweeted a drug raid unfolding at two properties in Melbourne's southeast.
The warehouses were raided by the drug task force unit in Carrum Downs on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation.
The NBA center tweeted a photo showing several armed police officers outside one of the warehouses, which is next to his Andrew Bogut Basketball centre.
"Full on 10+ Australian Federal Police raid next door," he posted.
A witness at the scene told AAP there was a strong smell of cannabis coming from the properties. Bags of what appeared to be cannabis were also seen.
It's believed the raids relate to the cultivation of cannabis plants inside the warehouses and up to four other properties.
Victoria Police said the raids, which also involved federal police and drug squad investigators, were part of an ongoing investigation and there was no risk to the community.
