SWFL, Women: Bunbury tramples over Collie Eagles in Round 14

The Bulldogs moved up to third on the 2019 SWFL - Women's ladder with a remarkable win over the Eagles in Round 14.

Playing at the Collie Recreation Ground, the game was almost finished when Bunbury posted three unanswered goals in the first quarter and three more in the second.

With Collie's chances fading rapidly, Bunbury then kicked another three in the third term.

Conceding one point in the fourth, the visitors earned a convincing 9.8 (62) to 0.1 (1) win.

Collie's 17 players gave it their all and worked well together.

League leaders South Bunbury established their dominance with a 32-point win over fifth-placed Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault, in Brunswick.

Defeating the Lions 7.2 (44) to 2.0 (12), the Tigers look set to claim the minor premiership.

After travelling to Kelly Park, fourth-placed Busselton cruised to an emphatic 8.4 (52) to 1.0 (6) win over the Panthers.
