The penultimate round of modern racing is set to head as round four of the Hydroquip State Road racing Championships kicks off this Sunday.
Rev heads are being told to expect the unexpected and for a spanner to be thrown in the works as riders tackle the highly anticipated extended track at the Collie Motorplex.
The race will give riders the chance to secure their place in the top three podium for the round and the Championship overall as all championship and series classes are still undecided.
Driving into the round, the B Grade Series is being led by Leigh Boujos who has taken all three round wins for a total of 75 points and a new lap record on the Barbagallo Circuit.
Second place overall is expected to bring a battle royale with three riders going into the round on 52 points each.
Neil Fraser, Keith Harrison and Glenn Lowe will pull out all the stops this weekend with Lowe keen to make amends for a jump start penalty in the last round.
The Cully's Yamaha Supersport Championship has Irishman Tommy King holding on to his strong lead of 36 points over second place rival Tim Boujos with the ever improving Andrew Biffen just 10 points behind in third position.
Teenager Bronson Pickett, Round 3 race winner Callum O'brien and Lachlan Hickey are tied on points ready to pounce on the front runners to take a podium position.
A spokeswoman for Motorcycle Racing Club WA said the class was one of the more competitive ones of the round and predicts the final results will come down to the line.
In the C Grade Supersport Series, newly regraded rider Andrew Biffen has stepped up to take the lead on 201 points from Lachlan Hickey and Bronson Pickett who are just one point behind.
However Jessica Boujos is still in with a chance holding down a consistent fourth place over the span of the season.
Superbikes are sure to bring in a crowd with premier class Ben Stronach holding a 45 point lead over the nearest rival in brother Cameron Stronach.
The brothers will need to keep an eye on Leigh Boujos who has been trying everything to snatch the lead and Matt price and Joel Beard are hot on the heels of the top three awaiting any errors to take advantage of.
In the C Grade Superbike Series Tim de Bruyn leads the way from Neil Fraser and Sean McHale with Kenric Ebsary challenging McHales third position.
The Production 300/400 class will show some strong competition with Bronson Pickett dominating in the previous rounds taking all nine race wins and Michael King showing a strong second placing in round three.
Adam Parsons is predicted to throw a spanner in the works having taken three strong thirds overall at the last round.
Three wheeled action is set to come with the sidecars round championship still on the line.
Young gun Dillan McDermott and passenger Paul Matthews hold a 13 point lead over close rival Graeme Evans and passenger Jarrod Scott with "old guns" Murray Stronach and Steve Marshall in third position.
The Clubman Class, open to 600 and 1000cc rides, saw Kavana van der Merwe take control of all three races for the round win on his R1, hotly pursued by Michael King on a 675 Daytona Triumph.
Jason Lockyer will be out to avenge his DNF in race two after putting in a commendable two second placings to Kavana on the day.
Practice will commence at 9am for competitors with races set to kick off at 10:50am.
Spectators will receive free entry with catering available in the motorplexes pit paddock area as well as on site parking available.
Championship season finale will kick off November 24 at Barbagallo Raceway.
