Police are calling for any information relating to a suspicious fire that tore through Harris Dam over the weekend.
Reported at 9:45am on Sunday morning, two bushfires began burning 6km a part along Caversham Road on the eastern side of Harris Dam, 15km north of Collie.
Around 100 hectares was burnt before firefighters were able to contain the blaze and the all clear was given this morning.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services warned locals and travelers to remain vigilant despite the danger passing in case the situation changes.
Drivers are asked to slow down and proceed with caution around Norm Road, Asquith Road, St Kilda Road and Baroda Road due to smoke and emergency services personnel working in the area.
The Bibbulmun Track between Caversham Road and Harris Dam, including the Harris Dam Bibbulmun Track campsite, is closed.
People are asked to report any suspicious behaviour they may have witnessed in relation to the fire to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
