Collies B grade played host to Hay Park on Saturday and came away with a hard fought win.
The visitors won the toss and chose to bat first on a pitch that looked like it had a few runs in it but got off to the worst start possible when Matt Tanner claimed a wicket with first ball of the innings.
Things didn't get much better for Hay Park, with collie knocking over the top order quickly to have them 5/23.
A few partnerships in the middle order help the visitors get the score over 100 but were eventually bowled out in the 42nd over for 117.
Best of the bowlers were Tanner with 3/5 from 7 overs, Mark Williams with 3/24 from 8 and Tyson Hayes with 2/27 from his 10 overs.
Collie started with a new look opening partnership of Blair Malatesta and Anthony Hutt but that didn't last to long with Hutt bowled for a duck.
This bought Williams to the crease and he and Malatesta started punishing the Hay Park bowlers all over the ground.
They put on an 84 run partnership before Malatesta was out for a well made 52.
This started a mini collapse with collie losing 4/13 in only 4 overs.
Josh Fraser and Tanner who both finished on 8 not out, saw Collie over the line in the 21st over to give Collie its 2nd win of the season.
