Dementia - A Positive Approach: We had a packed house to hear our wonderful local physio Pam Stockley talk about A Positive Approach to Dementia and how to keep your brain in good condition and develop coping strategies around dementia. Thanks to everyone who came along - it is great to see so many people who want to improve their understanding of this group of diseases and to learn how to improve brain function. Thanks also to Pam for again sharing her enthusiasm and experience with our community.

t's In the Bag: The annual collection for women at Christmas is on again. It's for the Share the Dignity organisation and it's called 'It's in the Bag' and basically you get an old handbag (in good condition) and fill it with hygiene products women need and they are distributed to women's shelters over Christmas. You can also do a bag for a teenage girl or mother with a baby.
For more info check out the website at Share the Dignity or call into the CRC and speak to Karen Prowse. Bags need to be dropped off by the end of November.
