The South West Football League's blockbuster season continued on Friday night with the much-anticipated 2020 Hayward Medal count.
With the league opting to live-stream this year's event, all 10 teams gathered in their respective clubrooms to watch the proceedings unfold.
The first four rounds of the count saw a tight race between four of the league's finest players.
Busselton's Ethan Maguire hit the lead with nine votes, ahead of Carey Park's Rory O'Brien (6), Bunbury's Jesse Gribble (6), and Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault's Jack Fletcher (6).
The count ended with HBL's Brendan Tingey scoring an impressive 14 votes from nine rounds, making him the proud recipient of the 2020 Hayward Medal.
Tingey narrowly beat out Maguire (12), Collie's Paul Rinder (11), and Eaton's Jarrod Humphries (10).
The Lions' powerhouse was also honoured with the Kia League Player of the Year Award.
Picking up a whopping 19 votes from nine rounds, South Bunbury's Kloe Basset was crowned the winner of this year's Nola Marino Medal.
Harvey's Doma Fedele came in second (13), with South Bunbury's Kate Fielding (12) and Bunbury's Ruby Mahoney (9) rounding out the top four.
Acknowledged for her amazing efforts, Bassett also received the 2020 Halifax Crane Hire Women's Coaches Award.
Eaton's Brent Piercey secured the Reserves Player of the Year Award, while HBL's Blake Offer was named Colts Player of the Year.
Eaton's Jordan Falco, HBL's Jai Moll, and Carey Park's Judd Churcher claimed the League, Reserves, and Colts' coaches awards, respectively.
League president Barry Tate and Dale Alcock Homes South-West general manager Steve Hancock addressed the crowd, thanking all those who helped to put this season together.
