As at 8.30am Tuesday, 20,000 homes remained without power and Western Power warned the blackout could last for another week. About 20,000 homes have had their power restored since 10pm.
In the metropolitan area, about 7500 households are still affected, and 10,700 in regional areas.
The worst affected this morning are Donnybrook (1445), Pinjarra (1305), Kewdale (1082) and Boddington (622). There are about 300 homes still without power in the greater Mandurah area, where Western Power crews were focusing their energies last night.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting tonight's front, which will impact on much of Perth and the south of WA, could be as severe as Sunday's storm, which saw winds reach 146km/h.
