SUCCESSFUL Collie residents who have lost weight are calling on others to fight the flab.
The Weight Wise graduates are encouraging other people in Collie to join up for the free program to sort the fact from fiction about weight loss.
The Weight Wise program has now been running for a year, and feedback from participants has been incredibly positive.
Locals Robert Ingram and Ian Goldsmith have recently completed the program, saying that they have found the program to be very beneficial.
"I was told by my Doctor that I needed to lose 10kg in the next three months so I could have an operation," Mr Ingram said,
"This program has made me more aware of my eating habits, and I've been able to lose weight by making dietary changes".
"The classes have been very informative and the small class sizes mean that there is good group discussion,"Mr Goldsmith said.
Roche Park Recreation Centre Manager Tammy Johnson has said that the five week program is run by local health professionals and provides people with evidenced based weight loss information and strategies.
