A man is in a critical condition after two motorcycles collided in an alleged speeding incident in Collie overnight.
The two riders were travelling east on Coalfields Road near the intersection of Marsh Street, Collie at approximately 8.15pm when the accident occurred.
A sudden stop forced one rider to hit the other from behind, causing both men to dismount their vehicles.
A 55-year-old man riding a Harley Davidson was flown to Royal Perth hospital with severe head injuries and lacerations.
The other 47-year-old man, who was riding a Triumph Rocket, was taken to Bunbury Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Senior Sergeant Mike Dean from Collie Police praised local residents and medical services who were quick to aid the riders.
Police are urging for anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers.
