A 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook the South West towns of Harvey and Collie overnight.
The epicentre of the quake was centred south east of Harvey and it struck at about 12.30am.
Geosciences Australia estimated it could have been felt by people up to 28km away.
Residents from Harvey, Collie and the surrounding areas reported feeling the ground shake for several seconds while residents in other areas reported hearing a large rumbling noise.
Carol Carlisle posted on the Perth Weather Live Facebook Page: "Yep, thought my roof was going to come off - house shaking was very eerie in Harvey."
While Sammy Brockliss made the following comment: "I'm in dawesville, didnt feel anything but heard a rumbling noise that i thought was thunder roughly about half past 12, it was very loud."
