Around 50 fire-fighters were sent to tackle a massive factory blaze in Bayswater on Saturday morning.
The building is near the intersection of Clune Street and Duffy Street.
A spokesperson for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said there was no threat to the community but motorists were urged to avoid the area, or slow down, because of thick smoke.
Fire-fighters said they managed to bring the blaze under control just after 7am.
