THE Collie Eagles Colts came up against the top side on the premiership ladder last weekend.
The undefeated HBL team soon put their stamp on the game right from the start.
Some good work done by the young Eagles went unrewarded as they failed to put a major on the scoreboard.
The HBL boys came away with a big win. SCORE - CE 0.1, HBL - 20.19 (139).

The Reserves tried to come up with some answers to the top side on the premiership ladder HBL.
The Eagles played some great passages of play but HBL were to good and kept the Eagles to one major on the scoreboard for the entire game.

The Eagles League side missed an opportunity last weekend to move to second spot on the ladder, when they went down to HBL in Chase Griggs 50th game for the side.
The first term saw both sides going goal for goal with Kristin Thornton (2), Jayce Fontana and Travis Cleggett all hitting the scoreboard.
Matt Michael again led the local defence in great style.
Scores were level at the first change.
The second term was a repeat as sides again went goal for goal before the visitors kicked away after a four goal burst.
The main break saw the HBL side two goals up leading 7.5 (47) to 5.3 (33).
When Thornton scored his fifth goal for the game the Eagles were in trouble but answering goals from Paul Rinder and Rhys Chappell kept the door open going into the last term.
Jake Rodgers gave the home side hope with an early goal before Luke Slater again shut the door by scoring two quick goals.
The visitors ran out winners 13.8 (88) to 9.6 (60).
