CONGRATULATIONS to the Collie Eagles Juniors Year 8 team who have won their way through to a place in the grand final which will be held in two week’s time.
The boys beat Harvey last Saturday by five goals in a good tough game of footy.
Now they get to put their feet up this weekend and recharge and prepare well to represent our town on grand final day which will be held down in Bunbury on September 17.
Unfortunately the Year 7's team were beaten by Marist last Saturday. Although, the boys will get another chance next weekend to bounce back in the preliminary final game against Donnybrook and keep their season hopes alive.
If the boys can get a win in the game this weekend they will get another crack at Marist in the grand final match. It was a great effort from both teams.
Good luck to both teams on representing Collie in the final games.
