Collie Early Education Centre director Jenny Fry said the centre has provided a fun and useful learning area for families over the past 12 months.
”You get to know the children, you get to know the families and you get to know what the children’s interests are so you are able to plan more effectively, for the program, to their own individual needs,” she said.
“That’s good, to be able to plan for each child because they’ve all got different interests, all got different skills and to be able to challenge the children that need challenging as well.”
The Collie Early Education Centre is holding a first birthday party on Friday, February 24 at its Throssell Street headquarters from 10am to 12pm.
The Collie Early Education Centre first opened its doors in February last year, as part of the South West Development Commission’s SuperTowns project.
