Collie Eagles colts and reserves score mixed results in round 14

The Collie Eagles Football Club’s colts and reserves scored varying results during round 14 against Eaton Boomers. 

Collie’s colts trailed by one point at quarter time, before the team’s three-goals-to-one performance in the second gifted a 5.5.35 to 4.4.28 lead at half time. 

Collie kicked another three goals in the third quarter, with the home side trailing close behind. 

Both teams kicked one goal apiece in the last, with Collie holding on for a 9.6.60 to 7.8.50 win.

Eaton’s Boomers launched to a comfortable lead in the first half, kicking four goals to one. 

The home side slotted another four in the second to clinch an 8.1.49 to 2.0.13 lead at the main break. 

Neither side was able to score a goal in the third quarter. 

Collie scored one point in fourth while Eaton kicked another two goals, running out to a 10.5.65 to 2.1.13 win at full time.
