Collie election candidate – Peter Hall

I am Peter Hall and I am running for Collie Shire Council, I have lived in Collie for 15 years and come with a background in information technology.

I run a small business in Collie and have a vast experience in many fields including hospitality and service related Businesses.

I have a large combined family with seven children which most have been schooled locally, I believe in supporting local business, sports and charity groups and not for profit groups and I personally help out at Collie’s CoderDojo.

I am running for Council as I believe there has been a void of a voice for small retail businesses here in Collie for a while and that the voice of the people is sometimes not heard in the rush to go forward.

I would like to be that voice of concern, Collie is a wonderful place to work, live and play and I would like to keep that momentum going.

My priorities would be; keeping rates low, a push to relook at the bin cycle, a push to utilize our river, looking at ways to entice new investments in Collie, increasing the town’s population, with your support I would like to see more push towards the 22nd century into a world helping our future workforce create, get and maintain employment locally within the shire.

I feel a shire needs to provide the right infrastructure to entice new and exciting capital ventures to collie creating jobs for the future.

Together as one we can create a thriving future for all in Collie and make it a supertown that has been promised.
