Wombats slaughtered: PETA offers $5k reward
PEOPLE for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Australia has offered a $5000 reward for information leading to the identification and conviction of those responsible for killing 10 wombats at Bendeela Campground in Kangaroo Valley last weekend.
Witnesses saw a white four-wheel-drive in the area on Friday night and early Saturday, apparently aiming for the animals.
