Friday night saw 41 athletes take to the track and the field, one new record broken and 93 personal bests achieved.
As the year gets very busy with the last few weeks of school approaching our athletes are still pushing themselves to set new PBs. A special mention this week to all the young boys who are dominating their PB tally.
Results are for the athletes that set four or more PBs this week.

Xavier Stewart (under 8) has continued his fine form, breaking another record. This time in the 500m run (1:53:61, previous record 1:57:76).
Kobi Wiese (under 8) set five new PBs: 100m 20.05s, 500m 2:07:66, ball throw 11.87m, discus 6.20m and long jump 2.22m.
Oliver Stewart (under 9) set five new PBs: 100m 17:56s, 400m 1:31:32, 70m 12:85s, discus 9.95m and high jump scissor 0.90m.
Clarrie Boyle (under 9) set four new PBs: 400m 1:48:27, discus 11.05m, high jump 0.95m and long jump 2.49m.
James Walker (under 10) set four new PBs: 400m 1:42:87, discus 11.65m, high jump 0.80m and long jump 2.81m.
Noah Carter (under 12) set five new PBs: 100m 16.48s, 1500m 6:21:23, 400m 1:22:28, javelin 16.45m and triple jump 6.98m.
Tahlia Reichelt (under 12) set four new PBs and gets a special mention as the only girl this week to break four or more PBs: 100m 15:88s, 1500m 7:50:03, javelin 16.55m and triple jump 7.55m.
A reminder to all that parent help is essential for running the program quickly and efficiently. Training will be on Wednesday from 4.30-5.15pm for under 6 to under 8 and 5.15-6.30pm for under 9 and above. Competition on Friday sets up at 4.30pm for a 5pm start.
