May 2015 saw the Collie Veterinary Hospital welcome a new face to their friendly team in the form of a sheep.
Murray the sheep took up the position of full-time lawnmower in the team, after being bought in to the vets.
There were 10 giant pumpkins entered in the Collie Agricultural Society pumpkin growing competition, with the winning pumpkin – grown by Lawrie Roberts – weighed in at a massive 27 kilograms.
Meanwhile, the postie bike riders arrived on time in Collie, in the bid to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
That month also saw Fairview Primary School students take part in their annual cross country competition.
