Gary Keep, from the Collie Bowling Club, played in the State Over 60 Singles last week and won the event.
Keep also took the title of being the first country winner of the State over 60 singles.
The final was a country affair with Keep defeating Peter Nicolay, from Hall’s Head, 21-15.
He started well with a 12-2 lead before Nicolay staged a comeback with multiple shots to be down by two shots 14-16.
Keep snapped back into action to claim the match with a great final bowl.
Well done to Keep, who also made the last eight in the State singles a fortnight ago, which is a good outcome for the Collie Bowling Club.
