Anzac Day will be commemorated in Collie on Wednesday, April 25 with a dawn service in Soldiers Park.
The dawn service will be led by the Collie-Cardiff RSL and will start at 5.30am with readings, reveille and a roll call of all servicemen from Collie who lost their lives during war.
This will be led by the traditional silent dawn service.
There will also be the annual ANZAC Day march down Forrest and Lefroy streets to Soldiers Park at 10.30am. Anyone wishing to participate can assemble at the Coles carpark before the march.
The march will then be followed by the day’s main service at 11am.
The service will include ANZAC Day messages, prayers, anthems and the laying of wreaths.
Collie Community Radio will be broadcasting both of the services live for those who can’t attend.
The Collie-Cardiff RSL will be open to the public after the 11am service, with the ANZAC Day tradition of two-up taking place from 1pm.
