A Collie woman was fined $650 and ordered to pay court costs after pleading guilty to three driving offences in the Collie Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 16.
Lee-Ann Joy Gelissen appeared in court and pleaded guilty to one charge of driving with a false licence plate, one charge of driving an unlicenced vehicle and one charge of no authority to drive in relation to an incident on April 8.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Phelps said police had pulled Gelissen over and found that the car she was driving was unregistered.
He also said the licence plate on the car she was driving had been taken from another vehicle.
Sergeant Phelps said police also found that Gelissen’s licence had been suspended due to incurring too many outstanding fines.
