Domino’s Collie has set itself the target of raising more than $5000 for the local community this week.
From Monday, June 11 until Sunday, June 17, the store will be donating 50 cents from every product sold towards helping the community, by providing funding schools, clubs, charities and community groups.
Domino’s Collie franchisee Zen Frost said the store hoped to sell 4000 pizzas during the week to raise the money.
The store had previously held ‘dough-raisers’ for St Brigid’s School and the Collie PCYC last month and will hold another for the charity Give Me 5 For Kids on Wednesday, June 20.
The store will be donating $1 from every pizza, thickshake and oven-baked sandwich on the day to the charity, which raises money for local children’s hospital wards across regional Australia.
Domino’s Collie will also be hosting a Winter Family Fun Day and movie night at the Collie PCYC this Saturday, June 16.
For a gold coin donation, children will be able to partake in a range of fun activities including a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling suits, displays from the Collie RC racing club and much more.
The event will run from 10am until 4pm.
The store will also be hosting a movie night at the PCYC, with Despicable Me 3 shown from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone from 8pm until 10pm.
Tickets for the movie night cost $10 and come with a free traditional pizza. To book, call 9735 2024 between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
Tickets may still be available at the door on the night for $12, subject to availability.
