Collie singer-songwriter Kate Hindle continues to kick goals this year after opening her own music school earlier this year, she has been busy touring and performing at festivals across the country.
The talented songstress released her new single and first music film clip for Loneliness off her debut album Ready for the Ride last week.
Collie singer-songwriter Kate Hindle is hoping to take her listeners on a journey with her new single, Loneliness, released on July 20.
Co-written between Hindle and award-winning artist Felicity Urquhart, the title may conjure up sadness, but the artist said the track was all about a journey from despair through to strength.
“The song is a bittersweet and confusing journey of love and sadness, but also the realisation that loneliness is just loneliness,” Hindle said.
“It’s about rising above everything and knowing that no matter what happens in life, things always happen for a reason and you become stronger from your past.”
With the new single and Hindle’s first foray into music film clips, the determined artist said she wanted to show a different side of herself.
The video, shot by Blacklist Productions at Harper’s Mansion in Berrima, features a maze and showcases the beautiful scenery of the region.
“I want them to see that I am a singer-songwriter and this is what I set out to do,” she said.
“The song just shows people that there are better things waiting for them when they’re going through tough times, and it all happens because it needs to.
“I really like the rawness and the story behind the song.
“It’s got a great beginning, middle and end and it shows an emotional journey.”
Loneliness is a track from Hindle’s debut album, Ready For The Ride.
She plans to tour Victoria in September to promote the single and her album for two weeks, before returning to her home state to continue on the promotion trail.
