PINE HAULIERS MEAT PACK
A good field of bowlers returned for the meat pack on Wednesday, September 12.
It was a tight contest, with only two shots separating the first two pairs at the end of the day.
Winner: Graeme Old, Tom Gale, Ian Bushell with 4 points plus 19;
Second: Max Cubic and Barry Lowe with 4 points plus 17;
Third: Ray Colgan and Gayle Riley with 3 points plus 10.
CASH PAIRS
Plenty of bowlers turned out for the cash pairs held last Saturday, September 15.
The high scores weren't in contention and low scores were the order of the afternoon.
Winner: Ray Colgan and Bill Mitchell with 4 points plus 4;
Second: Ross White and Vicki Daniel with 4 pts plus 3;
Third: Ron Guilfoyle and Barry Lowe with 3 pts plus 3.
McCAFE SCROUNGERS
A good crowd of bowlers turned out for the Sunday scroungers on September 16 and a great morning of bowls.
Into the final went Vicki Daniel, Allan Bowers, George Saggers, Rick Daniel, Peter Kaurin, John Waywood, Ken Richards, Terry Uren.
This Sunday is the wind-up of the winter scroungers.
Names in by 9.15am and play starts at 9.30am.

Highest score: Terry Uren;
Consolation: Tony Kent.

All ladies wishing to play bowls please be at the club by 9.15am so we can commence play at 9.30am.
100 YEARS CELEBRATION
On October 7 the club is celebrating 100 years of bowls in Collie.
Calling all former and current members to attend.
The day will start with a breakfast at 9am sharp, followed by a game of bowls, then lunch and cutting of the cake, followed by bowls and a culmination of the day’s play with cheese and biscuits.
