There was a fifth player to contest with on the tennis courts on Saturday afternoon, with heavy winds creating unpredictable challenges for players.
Serves fell well short, lobs looped right back and usually well-measured ground strokes shot out of the back of the court, resulting in game-play that was as funny as it was chaotic.
It was a nice change following the hot conditions of the Australia Day competition, which saw Peter Jackson and Wendy Burgess win the Happy Little Vegemite prizes.
Senior social play continues as normal this weekend, and all players new and old are welcome to join us from 2pm on Saturdays.
