Thirty-five athletes hit the track on February 8 to break an impressive 61 personal bests and two new club records.
Congratulations to Flynn Darnell for breaking the 60m hurdles record with a time of 12.15s; and Gemma Buckle for breaking the discus record 28.30m.
Welcome back to Under 8 Keith Ambrose who has rejoined the club; in turn creating five new PBs in: long jump, 100m, 70m, 60m hurdles and shot put.
U13 Tahlia Reichelt broke PBs in all events: high jump, 800m, 200m, 80m hurdles and javelin.
The following athletes broke four PBs: U8 Blake Digney, U8 Devon Lackworthy-Darke and Jesse Munday.
The following athletes broke three PBs: U11 Noah Stewart and U12 Nina Bercene.
A reminder that training is on Wednesday from 5-6pm and competition is on Friday – 4.30pm set-up for a 5pm start.
The Club’s AGM is being held on Wednesday, March 6 at 5.45pm following training.
