Collie lost the toss and began with the ball, in form Eaton opener Mick Rogers began aggressively and got Eaton off to a good start.

Jason Borrett and Gagan Sidhu managed to wrestle momentum back keeping Rogers quiet while taking three wickets at the other end.

With the wicket looking good for the batsmen, Eaton were headed for a 200 plus score.

Matt Tanner and Mark Williams came on as the first change bowlers and with a tight 10 overs from Tanner with Williams and Blair Malatesta from the other end Collie bowled 8 maidens in the middle 20 overs to halt Eaton in their tracks while continuing to take wickets.

Rogers was a constant source of runs for Eaton until he was dismissed for 97 by Seth White. Once he was out, Eaton stumbled to 174 from their 50 overs.

A great defensive bowling effort by Collie.
