After being on top for most of the season, the Collie Ladies Division 2 took to the green for the grand final in Eaton last week.

The Collie team took on Binningup, a side which had close games with them throughout the season, but they could not bridge the gap and finished as runners-up in the grand final. Skipper Kerry Scott's team of Maureen Taylor, Judith Saunders and Karina Snow drew with their Binningup opponents with 16 shots apiece.

Beverley Old, Kathleen McElroy, Rose Colgan and skipper Lyn Mitchell were unable to defeat their opposition, and finished with 13 shots to 20.

Kath Cluning skippered her team of Margaret Young, Eileen Hindle and Glenice Kaurin and put up a good fight, but they went down 12-25.

The score was Binningup, 61-2.5 to Collie, 41-0.5.
