Community members can now visit the Collie Waste Transfer Station to pick up a bargain.
In an effort to reduce landfill, the Shire of Collie has opened its new 'Re-Use Shop'. All items are priced under $10.
The shop is open seven days per week, from 9am to 4pm.
Chief executive officer David Blurton said the shire was committed to helping the environment.
"Council has been looking at various options to establish a Re-Use Shop for over 12 months based on feedback from the community," he said.
"All income from the shop goes back into the Waste budget and is used to pay for other initiatives such as increased recycling, rehabilitation of the landfill site and waste education programs.
"It is very important that the Shire and community work together to make the shop a success so that we can divert as much waste away from landfill as possible by either recycling, re-use or reducing our waste footprint in the first place."
