Arvo Book Club: The next Arvo Book Club is Thursday, August 8 and it's not too late to join this year. They meet every two months for one hour at the West Arthur CRC. Enquiries to Karen at the CRC on 9736 2000.
Excel Courses: If you are interested in a Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced Excel course, contact Karen Prowse at the West Arthur CRC.
Karen is trying to organise some training, dependent on numbers. Beginners course will run first - cost approximately $250-$300 for full day course with trainer from Bunbury.

Changes to Pensioners Travel Scheme: Pensioners may be aware there are changes to the WA Pensioner Free Travel Scheme.
The paper WA Free Travel vouchers issued with Pensioner Concession Card renewals will cease from the end of December 2019.
The Free Travel entitlements on Transwa services will remain but from January 2020 will be managed electronically by Transwa and issued for travel within each eligible calendar year.
Before booking with Transwa each WA pensioner must be registered so their concession and entitlement details can be verified and their electronic entitlement established.

Moodiarrup Hall Dinner 2019: Moodiarrup Hall Committee invite everyone to a Sunday Roast to celebrate the Hall's 95th year.
This year they are honouring the Italian families, who worked around the Moodiarrup District.
You are encouraged to pass this information onto as many family members as possible.
It's on Sunday, August 11 starting from 11am with a sit down lunch starting at 12 noon.

Government Mobile Service in Darkan: The Australian Government Mobile Service Centre will be in Darkan on Tuesday, August 6 from 9.30am-4pm across the road from the shopping precinct.
You can visit the Mobile Service Centre to find out about Australian Government payments and services for rural families, older Australians, students, job seekers, people with disability, carers, farmers and self-employed people.
Information about Department of Veterans' Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families will also be available.
Staff can provide you with information and support.
They can also help you create a myGov account. myGov is a simple and secure way to access government services online.
Farm Industrial Relations Presentation: Danielle McNamee from ProcessWorx will be presenting a training session on Thursday, August 15 at 8.30am at the West Arthur CRC.
The topics covered include state and national legislation; awards (specifically the flexibility clause of the Pastoral Award); Contracts; IFAs: "Better Off Overall Test" and also practical tips on introducing a contract and IFA to new and existing employees.
The session will go for 1.5 hours and be followed by question time. The cost per person is $50, payable prior to the day.
