Men's hockey was a Saturday afternoon affair with Centaurs Green taking on Mustangs at noon.
Both teams were near full strength and the two sides put on a great game.
Mustangs got the better of Centaurs in the first half, with Dave O'Brien scoring two goals for Mustangs to have his team up 3-1 at half-time.
Centaurs made a move at half-time, seeing Greg Tomasini move into the strike line, and with some good work from Jayce Kent and Jake Loxton, Centaurs mounted a comeback.
Centaurs were on the verge of equalling the scores but in the end the two second half goals from Jack Harms and Dane Marley proved too much, as Mustangs came out 5-3 winners in an entertaining game.
The second game saw Co-op play Centaurs Red.
Red were unfortunately undermanned and looked to have their work cut out for them from the start.
Co-op scored early but a fast break and some clean skills from Brent Guilfoyle saw Centaurs level the game at 1-1 after 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, this sparked Co-op into life and Cass Sanford and Jakob Pilatti put the heat on the Red boys to start piling on the goals. The same happened in the second half and despite some brilliance in goals by Cam Johnson and defence from Brenton Ingram, Centaurs couldn't stop Co-op running out 10-3 winners.
