The Collie Mail has been serving the community for 111 years.
While a lot has changed about Collie in that time, our commitment to the region has not.
Our dedication to our audience and advertisers will not change after November 29, when we vacate our existing office at 72 Steere Street North.
From that date, we will adopt a modern, mobile way of working.
This means journalist Taylar Amonini, advertising sales representative Angela Fleay, administrator Jill Tonkin and classifieds representative Margaret Mitchell will be accessible out and about in the town.
For those who prefer to catch up face-to-face, or to contribute hard copy, we will be advertising soon in the paper and online where you can come and meet us in town.
Our local staff will not be leaving the town as a result of the change - in fact it will make us more versatile to serve the community. The team are always just a phone call or email away, and happy to come to you to do interviews or to discuss your advertising options.
We will be working with a purpose-built digital publishing technology that allows us to put out the newspaper and run our website from anywhere with an internet connection.
The paper will still be published on Thursdays and our website at colliemail.com.au will still keep you connected between print editions. We are simply transforming the way we work - just as the town and region we serve have transformed.
You can still expect to see Taylar at local events, and Angela will stay in contact with local businesses for their advertising solutions.
If you'd like us to visit you, just get in touch with Taylar on 0455 563 279 or taylar.amonini@colliemail.com.au. For general editorial queries, email editor@colliemail.com.au. Contact Angela Fleay on 0455 227 592 or angela.fleay@colliemail.com.au. For classifieds contact Margaret Mitchell at classifieds@colliemail.com.au.
We are proud of the work we do at the Collie Mail and we thank you, for your continuing support.
