A 39-year-old Collie woman was fined $2000 and banned from driving for four months after being found guilty of three offences in the Collie Magistrates Court last week.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Greg Ward told the court police had pulled over Elisha Gaye Robinson for a traffic stop on the Coalfields Highway in Allanson on October 23.
As a result of the traffic stop, Robinson was charged with having a glass smoking implement, with traces of meth on it, and a prohibited weapon – an extendable baton – in her possession.
She was also charged with failure to comply with police after she refused to accompany officers back to the station because she was ‘running late’.
