It’s our favourite time of the week – a step back in time to reflect on the changes in our region, the faces and the fun that was being had during the month of November all the way back in 1998.
There was a lot going on around the Collie region at the time.
The annual Christmas Pageant was held, along with the Cheerio Club Christmas party and many other Christmas celebrations.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service flew in and out of the collie airstrip conducting pilot training.
Eric and Maureen Waywood took out the 1998 Christmas Light Competition.
Collie volunteer fire fighter Tom Kenneally had a lucky escape when a discarded aerosol can exploded in his face during a prescribed burn.
What do you remember about the month?
